Renewals, refunds, cancellation — the plain version
- No subscriptions. Every paid tier (Snapshot, Studio Session, Master Studio) is a one-time purchase. You buy it once, you keep it. We do not auto-renew, we do not silently rebill.
- Cancellation. There is no recurring billing to cancel. If we ever add a recurring plan it will say so at checkout (“billed monthly, cancel anytime”), and the cancel button will live on your dashboard.
- Refunds. 24 hours from purchase, eligible if you've used 3 or fewer photos. One Generate click = 3 photos = your quality check. See full refund policy for details and how fast the money gets back to your account.
- Honest free tier. The free tier really is free — no trial, no card on file. You can use it forever within the 3-per-day limit.
- No dark patterns. No pre-checked upsell boxes. No countdown timers we made up. No “are you sure?” cancel-prevention loops.
What “photo count” means
Each tier's photo count is the number of generated headshots included with the one-time purchase. You can generate them across as many sessions as you want — they don't expire.
- Walk-In: 3 headshots per day, refreshed every 24 hours. Free forever.
- Snapshot: 30 total. Use 1 today, 29 next year — fine.
- Studio Session: 100 total.
- Master Studio: 300 total + share codes for up to 3 teammates.
If you exhaust a tier and want more, top up by buying it again. No price escalation.
Privacy first — your photo is never saved
- Your selfie: Processed in memory and immediately discarded. We don't write it to disk. No copies, no caches, no logs.
- Face data: Never stored. There is no face-embedding database on our servers.
- AI training: We never train AI models on your photos. Not ours, not anyone else's.
- Your generated headshots: If you're signed in, they save to your private gallery so you can re-download — you can turn that off in dashboard settings, delete any individual photo, or wipe the whole gallery with one click. Signed-out results just stream back to your browser and disappear.

What about teams?
Master Studio includes 3 team share codes. Each teammate gets the full Studio Session feature set and can generate independently against your shared pool. Good for a small team of founders or staff.
For larger teams (10+ people, recurring need), email [email protected]with the subject “Team plan”. We don't advertise a team plan because we haven't built one — but we'll work out a fair deal.

Is FreeHeadshot really free?
Yes. The Walk-In tier is free forever — 3 AI headshots per day, no signup, no credit card, no watermark. Paid tiers (Snapshot $9, Studio Session $19, Master Studio $49) are one-time purchases that unlock more photos and features.
What's the refund policy?
24-hour refund window on every paid tier if you've used 3 or fewer photos. EU and UK consumers keep their statutory rights on top of this. Email [email protected] with your order details and we process refunds same-day.
Is this a subscription?
No. Every paid tier is a one-time purchase — you buy it once and you keep it. We do not auto-renew. We do not silently rebill. There is no recurring billing to cancel because there is no recurring billing.
What's the difference between the four tiers?
Walk-In ($0) is 3 free headshots per day. Snapshot ($9) is 30 total headshots across 100+ styles. Studio Session ($19, most popular) is 100 headshots plus all 12 platform export sizes and full commercial license. Master Studio ($49) is 300 headshots plus the premium AI model, priority queue, and 3 team share codes.
Do unused photos expire?
No. Each paid tier's photo count is yours to use across as many sessions as you want. Use 1 today, the other 99 next year — fine. Photos don't expire and the tier doesn't expire.
What happens if I use all my photos?
You can top up by purchasing the same tier again (or a different one). No price escalation, no penalty for repeat purchase. We never push you to upgrade or rebuy.
Are team plans available?
Master Studio includes 3 team share codes. For larger teams (10+ people), email [email protected] with subject 'Team plan' and we'll work out a custom deal. We don't advertise a team plan because we haven't built a self-serve one — but we're responsive to direct emails.
Can I use the photos commercially?
Studio Session and Master Studio include full commercial license — use the headshots on your company website, in marketing materials, on book covers, anywhere. Snapshot is personal-use only. Walk-In is for personal use too.
